End Time Signs

Spend time with God every day through studying the Bible and prayer.  Also, seek to remain in a constant state of communion with the Father throughout the day. Gather together with other believers for worship, prayer and study of the Word.   As you develop spiritual sensitivity, you will recognize the Voice of the Holy Spirit giving you instructions for your daily life.  The Holy Spirit's Voice will never violate the Word of God and will keep you in peace.  Seek to have peace with all men as much as possible.   Quickly forgive the same way that you have been forgiven by Christ.  With all of your doing, flee from sinning against God.  Don't compromise even a little.  Sin and compromise open up the door for demonic attack and steal peace. If there is anything in your life that you have been waiting to make right, get it taken care of now.   Stay very close to God and He will stay close to you. Do not be seduced to live above your means. Work on eliminating debt.  Live simply.  Work for your living.  Keep your house in order and stock up on provisions.  Beloved, always remember the Great Commission and how Jesus commanded His disciples to go forth with the Gospel.  It is the Father's heart for all men to be saved.  Share Christ's love at every opportunity.  Help the poor and needy. Visit the sick and don't forget those who are in prisons and jails.  We owe men only one thing and that is love.

 "COME ALL OF YOU WHO ARE HEAVY LADEN AND I WILL GIVE YOU REST."

"Revelation" means to reveal something that was previously hidden.  When the Apostle John was on Patmos, the angel of the Lord appeared to him and gave him special messages for the Church Age (Pentecost - Rapture of the Church) and he revealed startling end-time events.  Most people are not comfortable studying REVELATION because they think it is hard to understand and frightening.  However, the Spirit of God wants everyone  to understand, and concentrated, prayerful study will make it easy to understand in time.  The enemy (Satan) certainly doesn't want people to know that in this book, he is clearly defeated along with the other two members of the satanic trinity, Anti-Christ and the False Prophet along with the fallen angels.  It is a wonderful and exciting book of the enemy's defeat and Jesus Christ's victory!  

(Rev. 1-3)  "Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy  and keep those things which are written in it,
 for the time is near."
 

END-TIME SIGNS EVERY CHRISTIAN SHOULD KNOW

Israel is God's Time Clock  Jesus said in Matthew 24 that we would know the time is near when the fig tree bloomed again.  In the Bible, the fig tree represents Israel. The last Israelites were carried off to Babylon in 586 B.C.  Israel was no longer a nation and remained in the captivity of various powers until May 14, 1948.  At that time, through a miracle of God, Israel became a nation again.  Jesus said in this generation, He would come back again.  How long is a "generation?"  No one knows for sure.  But the Psalmist declared that we have "70 years and 80 by way of strength."  (Psalm 90:10)

      THE RAPTURE OF THE CHURCH    

The "Rapture" can happen Any Second   In I Thes. 4:15-16 we read that when God's trumpet is sounded, the bodies of Christians who have died will rise out of the ground and go up to meet Christ in the air.  Christians who are alive will immediately follow them.  This will all happen in the "twinkling of an eye"
 (I Cor. 15:51) This will mark the beginning of  7 Years of Tribulation, the "Time of Jacob's Trouble," that has been so dreaded for many years.  God will grant that His saints will escape the terrible judgments that will come upon the earth.

 (I Thes. 4:15-17)  "For this we say to you by the Word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep.  For the Lord Himself will descend from Heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God.  And the dead in Christ will rise first.  Then we who are alive and remain shall be CAUGHT UP together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.  And thus we shall always be with the Lord."

“Caught up” comes from the Greek word, “harpazo.”  In the translation process, the Greek word was translated from the Latin word for "rapture" which we get the word, “rapture”.

Our Lord Jesus and the Apostle Paul said that God will spare His children from the great judgments coming upon the earth.  "God has not appointed His children to wrath."  (I Thes. 5:9)

Jesus told His disciples that there would be an "escape."  (Luke 21:36)  "Watch, therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man."

Note:    The exact timing of the Rapture and other End-Time events is not a doctrine that should cause division among Christians or any argument.  However, based on the Scriptures, there is overwhelming evidence that the Rapture is just what the Bible says it is - a supernatural experience when the Bride of Christ goes to meet her Bridegroom, Jesus Christ.  He will not allow his Bride to suffer the judgments that are for the wicked and unbelieving people of the earth. 

THE SECOND COMING OF JESUS CHRIST

The first time Christ came to the earth, He came as a Servant, Teacher and Miracle Worker.  The second time He comes to earth, it will be in a Blaze of Glory like no one has ever seen before.  The sky will illuminate with clouds parting to reveal our Glorious and Magnificent King of Glory on His white horse.  A sword will go out of His Mouth as He charges toward Jerusalem with ten thousands of thousands of saints following Him on their horses.  (Reader, if you are a Christian,  you will be part of that Royal Army).  King Jesus will set His feet on the Mount of Olives and there will be an earthquake that will shake Heaven and Earth.  All enemies of Jesus and Israel will be defeated with one sweeping blow!

The rebellious, lost people of the world will be cast into the Lake of Fire along with the False Prophet and the AntiChrist.  A Mighty Angel will capture Satan, the Ancient Deceiver and "Murderer from the Beginning" and cast him into a great pit for a thousand years.

   OTHER IMPORTANT SIGNS

                        One Week Sign  Nearly 6000 years have elapsed since Adam and Eve.  The Word says that in God's time a thousand years equals one day
                        (II Pet. 3:8).  It is time for God's "7th day of rest" - the millennium.  It was approximately 2,000 years from Adam to Abraham, 2,000 years from
                        Abraham to Jesus and 2,000 years + from Jesus to now.  The clock is ticking!

                        Europe Revived In Daniel 2 we read about King Nebuchadnezzar's dream of a great image and it's symbolism.
                        The prophet Daniel revealed the powers that would rule the world in the future, ending with the 10 toes of iron
                        and clay that represented the Revived Roman Empire.  Today we see the European Community already
                        is not only revived but has its own currency.  Soon the Anti-Christ will come out of that union as a very charismatic
                        and persuasive leader.  The symbol of the European Union is a woman riding on the back of a bull with 12 stars
                        around her head. (Rev. 17:3 "So, he carried me away in the Spirit into the wilderness.  And I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet
                        beast which was full of names of blasphemy..."

THE MARK OF THE BEAST

          In the 13th Chapter of Revelation we read about the infamous "666" mark that will be put on the hand or forehead of anyone who wants to buy or sell. 
          We have had the technology for putting everyone on the earth on the computer for many years.
 

CALAMITIES IN THE HEAVENS AND THE EARTH

           Jesus prophesied that there would be wars, rumors of wars, earthquakes and horrible calamities in many places as time came to an end as we know it.

 "And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; men's hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near."  (Luke 21:25-28)

      War of Ezekiel 38  In Ezekiel we read the prophecy of the dry bones coming to life again.  This is a prophecy made 2, 600
      years ago that in the last times Israel would return from being scattered around the world and become a nation again.  After
      they are flourishing again, we read that a northern confederacy will come against Israel like a flood to destroy her.  The names
      of the confederacy are Rosh (Russia or "chief"), Magog (Central Asia - Islamic southern republics of  the former Soviet
      Union, may include Afghanistan), Meshech (Turkey), Tubal (Southern Russia and Iran), Persia (Iran), Ethiopia/Cush (Sudan),
      Put (Libya), Gomer (Turkey), Beth-togarmah (Turkey) and Many Peoples with you (other Islamic nations).  Today, we see
      this prophesy coming to pass before our eyes.

      Three-day Sign  (Hosea 6:2) "After two days, He will revive us; on the third day, He will raise us up."    Some Bible scholars believe         this refers to (Two thousand years are two days after Christ and the third day is the millennial reign of Christ (II Peter 3:8).

There are many other signs that Jesus is coming soon.  Friends, we live in sobering times. When the Rapture happens, no one will have time to "get right with God" if they are not already.  They will miss the Great Escape and have to go through the Tribulation period.  People can still be saved during that time but will have to die a martyr's death for their faith.  Actually, there will be a great revival during that time as 144,000 Jewish evangelists (saved right after the Rapture) will go about the earth proclaiming the Gospel.  Many other persons who knew the way of salvation but put off making a commitment to God will know what has happened and will come to God at that time.  But it will be a time of great suffering and death.  Today, if you are not a born-again Christian, you don't want to wait another moment in giving your life to Christ.  Please go to the "How to Be Born Again" page and follow the simple instructions.  

If you are already born again, it is time to go public with your Christian witness and win as many people to the Lord as possible!

Do not be afraid!  These are really great times!  End time prophecy isn't to scare you but prepare you!
